3. WHAT BUSINESS IS FINTEL ENGAGED IN?
FINTEL’s primary business is to provide financial and management software, consulting and training to anyone who provides services to small to medium-sized businesses, including but not limited to, owners, managers, business service providers (Certified Public Accountants [CPAs], consultants, etc.), commercial lenders, government and non-profit organizations.
In order to provide you with relevant information, fulfill your specific requests, and enhance your experience across our Web site, we will at times request personal information from you. FINTEL is concerned with the security of the personally identifiable and financial information we have collected and has in place reasonable measures to prevent unauthorized access to that information. These measures include – policies, procedures, and technical elements relating to data access controls. In addition, FINTEL uses standard security protocols and mechanisms to exchange the transmission of sensitive data such as financial details.
Web-based applications provided by FINTEL are protected using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology. We use Geotrust as our SSL Certificate provider. Sites secured by Geotrust QuickSSL are utilizing 128-bit SSL certificates thereby offering the highest level of encryption or security possible. This means you can rest assured that communications between your browser and our web servers are private and secure.
